About

I thought to give some human qualities to my writing I’d provide some tid bits about myself. I am currently in my second year at a college. I want to be a geneticist. When I was young I wanted to be a dolphin when I grew up… Well, that’s one dream that never took off.

My hobbies include reading, photography, and other quiet and creative things. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, and kayaking as well. My favorite season is summer. I absolutely loathe the season of spring. It’s an awful, rainy season. I hate the dark. I love animals, friends and family. I try not to choose favorite people. Favorites of Favorite: Sam Smith, music from the 1920’s-1950’s, Watermelon and ice cream and all shades of purple. I cannot stand bullies or people that abuse their power.  I believe in equality in all forms-no exceptions. Frequently I will read articles and listen to opinions that are drastically different  from my opinion and belief. Opposing views can begin a discussion that can open minds. That’s me in a large nutshell.

The best advice I have ever received was from my beloved high school chemistry teacher: “Do it even if you’re scared that you’ll be wrong, because that’s how you learn.”

  1. Thanks for dropping by my blog and liking my post ‘One Lovely Blog Award’. I am actually a spring gal myself. As July 29th is National Rain Day (betcha you didn’t know that), I am ready to praise rain in a post. Due to our obvious differences, I am now following you! Yep, there is a lot of interesting writing here ,and I look forward to reading more. Cheers!

  3. Microbiology is great! I had considered that as a career option before genetics. Handmade artwork and crafts are lovely. Yes, family and friends make life worth living, they truly are everything.

May you and your loved ones have many blessings and much luck
